A solar farm in Arizona is making headlines as the largest in the United States, at least for now. Spanning approximately 10 square miles, the solar farm is home to over 5 million photovoltaic modules that generate 290 megawatts of energy. This energy will be supplied to California for the next 25 years as part of an agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric. The solar farm is expected to produce enough energy to power around 230,000 homes. This is a significant step towards reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources and moving towards a more sustainable future.
